No way IRCC would accept that .

Maximum 2 weeks .
I submitted same .
I read the thread and wanted ur opinion on my situation
I will be applying for a study permit next month. I am an Indian but I work in Bahrain. To fund my tuition fees and living expenses, I will be taking an education loan from an Indian bank by mortgaging my father's property in India. So my question is whether the education loan from an Indian bank will be a problem in the visa office here in Bahrain?

Hi, does anyone know when you submit bank statements for study permit, how old the bank statements must be? Can it be about 3 months old? (By 3 months old I mean it was printed 3 months ago)
Thanks!
Firstly, you can prove your funds with your bank statements for the past 4 months as specified on the following IRCC URL - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/get-documents.html

Secondly, about how soon it needs to be, while there is no information given on study permit section of IRCC website for the duration, but there is this FAQ that gives some approximate timeframe - https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=853&top=25

I personally provided the statement that were 2 days old, you'd need to attach supporting documents to explain the source/where that money came from.

Providing baseless young bank statements can get you banned from Canada. Please refer to previous threads. You can receive a PFL informing your ban if the VO finds any discrepancies :

It must be minimum 6 months to be on the safer side.

Procedural fairness letter from CIC stating " Specifically, I have concerns that the bank statement which you have provided in support of your application is fraudulent"
