ADVICE FOR CELPIP

Hello,

I'm writing to give you a little boost of motivation.
I wrote CELPIP 3 (three) times and I finally got my desired score.

Here are my advice:
  • 1. Make sure you study for the parts you might be struggling with. For example, I was struggling with Writing and I made sure to study twice as much
  • 2. Borrow books from public library, most of the time it's free
  • 3. If you can afford the CELPIP textbooks or materials, Please buy it (It can be helpful)
  • 4. Make sure you watch tons of YouTube videos. I find MADENGLISH TV, PRESTO ENGLISH and CELPIP videos super helpful
  • 5. Speaking of YouTube, Watch all CELPIP videos on YouTube. Please, Watch the webinars
  • 6. Last but not the least, Re-evaluation can be helpful. I went from 8 to 11 on writing and it added 23 extra points on my Express Entry score.

Hi bro,
I appeared for CELPIP twice and my score
1. R-5, L-7, S-8, W-7
2. R-7, L-6, S-7, W-7

2nd time - I was really disappointed with the score given
I was expecting at least 11 in writing and a pass in all,
looking at your post have applied for re-evaluation of all by paying 165 extra.
due to age my points are coming less around 380..

someone told me If u have valid Job offer u dont need to appear for Language test- there is an employer Job offer stream which can be of help

Hello,

Correct, if you are doing the ONIP Foreign worker , you do not need the english exam

ok, Thank you. can you tell please next when we have this OINP foreign worker open and what all I need to keep inplace before going with this.
Someone told me this is closed and Ontario has closed such types. In Future we are never going to have such type

I got my CELPIP results today-
Listening - 7
Reading - 6
Writing - 7
Speaking - 7

I am planning to put re-evaluation for reading. Can it be helpful? Any chances that scores can go up?
Should i put re-eval for reading as it’s computerised checking?
Have done re evaluation and success score up for reading?
Any advice will be helpful and sincerely appreciated :)

Hello,

I would not advise for you to re-evaluate your reading as its computerized. Though you could consider re-writing it.
I would probably write the test again because you just wrote it and it's still fresh in your brain.

I am very sure you will ace it! I wrote my test 3 times before I got my final/preferred result.

Does the paid CELPIP material actually help? Can we get some of these paid material questions on the actual test? Any response will be highly appreciated

no you won't get the paid material questions on the actual test.
The materials will help you prepare well for the exam!

If you don't have the money to buy the paid materials,
you can always start with the FREE materials
