Hello Folks,

While I was creating my initial EE profile (to get in the pool) I answered the question "have you ever applied to the IRCC before?" no and therefore did not add the UCI that's on my study and work permits. However, yesterday I got invited and on the Permanent Residency application I noticed the question. So, I answered "yes" and added the UCI. I'm currently confused as to what I should do. Should I reject the ITA and reenter the pool or should I proceed with my application?

I don't think it can cause any problem because the UCI does not affect your CRS score. Don't reject the ITA, unless you have very high score (490 or more, you never know how much the minimum score is in the next draw). Besides, it wastes time.

In case you need a formal confirmation to rest assured, you can use IRCC webform to send them a message with your EE file number.

Same thing happened to me and I even submitted the application. I just raised the web form with correct UCI and they have updated it. Don't worry it's not a big deal.

Thank you for your answer, this really helps. Just one question, Istill haven't submitted, should I proceed and then submit the web form? or do the web form first?

Thank you for your reply. I was just worried that it might be considered mismatching information.

U don't need to raise webform if u haven't submitted it. Just attach a Letter of Explanation in ur application saying that u misunderstood the question hence gave wrong info but u fix it post ITA. You will be fine :)
