those were the 10 disturbing months for me . Sometimes I wake up with nightmares. When I came Here I had no identity card or anything on me. I had no documents. So they kept me in detention center for 10 months till they found my background and identity. Not that I didn’t wanted to disclose my identity but they wanted to make sure to know I am who i am saying I am !!

I'm glad you're out and have your ID .
your beginning was not easy at all ..not having an ID when entering is a big deal.

Without proof of your identity it is pretty reasonable to expect that you'd be put into detention. You must have walked over the border and not at an actual legal border entry so walking into a country without any ID creates a security risk. There are people who come to Canada with various intentions and not all of them are good. Once your identity was eventually confirmed you were likely released and asked to report to CBSA.

Hi. And today I just got my CoPR. Thank God for answered prayers!
My timeline:
Application sent: Feb xx 2020
Application received: Feb xx 2020
AOR: Feb xx 2020
AIP: Sept xx 2020
Medical/Criminal/Financial requests: Sept xx 2020
Requests submitted: Oct xx 2020
CoPR: Oct xx 2020
Now, I was asked to take a photo for the PR card. I dont know how long it will take for it to arrive in the mail. Goodluck everyone. Keep the faith!

When you are out of status CBSA put you on monthly reporting either in person or on call. All you have to do is to call on given number every month and repeat 3 time " I am phoning immigration to report." For some individuals they have to go to CBSA office for in person reporting every month.


There was ongoing communication; initially I submit all documents except Valid Passport and Police Certificate. Then in another email I asked about police certificate and valid passport requirement and possible waiver request. Also got email from them to submit another form and RCMP Certified Check fingerprinted.
But when finally I submitted police certificate; I mentioned in email that "I believe that all required documents are submitted and I hope my file is ready for finalization."

I got following email next day:

Hello,
This is in response to your email submitted with copies of your valid passports and RCMP results, along with the Police Certificates.
They all have been received and your file has been updated.
It appears we have received all requested documents and I will be sending your application for finalization.
If we need any further information we will let you know.
Thank you and have a good day!

2-
I have sent my updates through my lawyer but I was thinking to send it by my self. Can I?! If so... how do i do it? By email ou by mail?!

Hi there,where did you get your Biometrics done?If this is your second H&C,based on people who have been in similar situation,the second one gets processed quickly since you’re already in the database.Also,if you need to send updates yourself,you can do it via the web form.

They requested RCMP criminal check in initial requested documents; but later they request again RCMP certified check (they call it RCMP Fingerprint). So I did twice. I should have done certified check in the first place.

wow 24 months it’s long time for refusal
Usually take 12 to 18 if they refuse

May I asked you wha is the ground of your h&c and also which office did you send it

This happen to me in 2019 !! Is it a good sign or no ? And I also sent a GCMS note waiting to hear from them . Can someone put Light on it ?
