If it has app number starting with F then it’s for PR. Either way biometrics for TRV (including work permits are exempted) so it should be for PR

Well we the March group and there is a lot of us that to has not got any info . They can’t see your application because they have not started processing once they open your package to start on it they will let you know it’s just a waiting game .good luck

If you have a look on the spreadsheet, you will notice that a number of people received their work permits already.

We had our OWP approved today! (March 18 applicant)
So much relief from being on implied status.

Edit: No email as of yet. Only noticed from logging into the PA's account and seeing the status changing to "Approved"

Hi! I received Biometric instruction letter yesterday.

The letter mentions that I need to make an appointment.
But the website of biometric, at the top part, said "Service Canada officers will call you to book an appointment. Don’t go to a Service Canada Centre unless a Service Canada officer calls you and schedules an appointment for you.

So, I don't need to do anything until the officer call me, does my understanding correct?

Yay! Our OWP was approved today! We are a March 18th applicant. We did not receive an email yet but it did say "approved" in GCKey as of November 6th!!!

March 17th applicant. Same here. OWP was approved but no email. I had to check the GCKey platform to see it. It was approved today.

Great news to all of you!

May I ask if any of you who've received your OWP recently if you already had an OIC number? My anecdotal observation makes it seem like all OWP's issued for March applicants already had an OIC number for previous dealings with IRCC.
