So annoying! I wish we could do something to speed it up.
I know!!! On the basis of what do they process?? If not on the order of the AOR, then on the basis of what??? Applications should be processed in the order of AOR rcvd. I’m not sure what’s happening

Did you call them?
Yes called multiple times, and each time they had me waited for more than half an hour and told me "only medical passed, criminal in progress, nothing else started."

Another horrible issue that I found is that a call after 11 am is possibly never able to transfer to an agent "due to high volume".

Well, considering that they close at 4PM (local canada time) calling after 11PM means no one is working the phones. Try calling during their office hours.

Sorry, it's a typo, I meant 11 am. There are still 5 hrs in their working hours and the line is blocked or the queue is too long for them to transfer, or there is no enough agents to pick up the phone?

Is no change on Cic portal a good thing? Mine has been stagnant ever since they asked me for RCMP and I uploaded it. It’s still just so stagnant there is no change - Aor July 23 bio already completed in feb but doesn’t say complete on profile..

You know what, @dgeorge - I think no one can really tell because they seem to have so many background things going on, and sometimes go slower and sometimes faster than expected. I assume the not showing of biometrics (ALTHOUGH WE BOTH HAVE IT IN OUR PROFILES LINKED BUT NOT SHOWING AS COMPLETED IN THE TIMELINE SECTION) might (hopefully) just be a technical issue they have. It's annoying, I know, but I just hope and trust in the officers to do their right job (hopefully haha) - so let's hope!

Another thing:
Do anyone think, at this stage, 4 months in almost, will anyone get a cancel/refusal or is it too deep in the process?
Usually they cancel/refuse in the first 1-2 months I thought?!

Ur right I agree. But I’m just so scared I can’t help myself. I know I am obsessing over this but I literally. Cannot. Help. Myself.... once I know my eligibility is passed my mind will be rested and I won’t be as restless as I am now. I just really want to know if my eligibility is passed. Who knows how they work.. im just trying to stay positive and keep patient

Hang in there!! we all are at same stage. Full of questions but no response.
my AOR: July 03
Biometric (only for my spouse): 20oct2020.
No update after that so far. I dont want to bug them given that my application is still within their timeline.

Apparently they have to manually update biometrics to "completed" for those of us who are exempt. My AOR is July 31. I have zero movement on my application. Had a ghost update sept 17, via email. and a couple of weeks ago had one without email. (caught it when I logged in).
But yeah, we're all nervous. It's like walking around with a giant rock hanging over our heads. Either it's going to come crushing down on us or it's going away and we can all relax and breath normal. At least that is how I feel.

Edited to add: By "zero movement" I mean "Zero movement after MEP and BIL".
