US Citizen Entering for 6 Months and Potentially Applying for Extended Stay

Hi i also hope to seek some help in here if posible ive been trying to do a lot of research but i cant find a right answer that i was looking for so i think its better to ask here directly and hopefully get a respond
So i am a permanent residence in canada ive only been here for 3 years now and my girlfriend is in puerto rico and she is a us citizen so we been together for only a couple of months and weve been planning to see each other and live together since everything is going well and smooth with our relationship.
I was just wondering what are the process shes gonna need to do to come to canada and does she also need to show some proof of funds to stay here for 6 months ?

2nd is she gonna get asked how long are we in a relationship and is it safe to say we only been together for like 3 or 4 months ?

3rd is i was planning to support her within that whole 6 months due to she cant do any work i was wondering if shes gonna get asked about that part
And is there any tips that you guys could give us to make sure she would be able to come here without any problems i do appreciate and help thank you guys so much

It hasn't really changed and should be super easy provided you are an American. Just follow the instructions in the link I provided above and make sure the extension application reaches IRCC before your allowed stay in Canada expires.

You can't apply for an extension if you have overstayed. You have to apply to restore your status instead if you qualify.
