I'm graduated since 2018 and started working from July of this year. I've been practicing programming and web dev during the entire 2019 and I have enough online certificates for that. Would it be a problem for the visa officers having around an year and half of study gap?

Which stream have you graduated from? Is programming & web Development one of the modules you learnt in college? Are you working in same industry now which you were learning on your own since graduation ? These are some of the things you need to answer in your SOP & clearly reason it out.

Thanks for the info. I'm planning to go either for CS PG diploma or for Data Analysis. Now, I'm an Economics graduate and we had 2 statistics classes, 2 mathematics class and a bunch of econometrics classes(very similar to stats) so I guess I can say to the visa officers that I had a lot of quantitative subjects in my undergraduate are very fundamental to data analysis. But, I don't have enough development experience. I have around 4 months of experience and around 4-5 online certificates. Problem is I don't know if visa officers would consider this adequate or not after I get my offer letter from the college.
