PGWP to CEC

Hi! I took a Hospitality course when I was studying here in Canada as an International Student. I obtained my PGWP for 3 years.
Do I have to gain work experience related to my course?
Or can I gain the CEC work experience on any skilled job as long as they are NOC 0, A or B?
