Thank you... Getting frustrated.. March 23 ... Still no update... May I have any estimate how many March applicants left without AOR 1
March 23, no AOR either, when I called last Friday, they said my application is still under review for completion. When I called the second week of October, I was told the completion check was done and awaiting an agent.. don't even make sense calling sometimes as the responses given are different.

This is very furstrating!!! Was seriously expecting for it to open sometime this month. VACs of other countries in India started to open from July 2020 and just Canada is still keeping its VACs closed. Does not make any sense what's so ever!
It just doesn't. This virus won't go away soon. It's hard to understand what are they waiting for, whole India is operational currently. What they should be doing is planning for safe re-opening of VACs so that work doesn't stall and our applications get some decisions in the upcoming months. Bizarre

Its a shame that people from June are getting their AOR's and yet much of march is still waiting. Its also a shame that if someone is missing 1 document or messed up on 1 document they mail it all back instead of taking 2 minutes to send email or call and request the document. That makes no sense whatsoever to me... April 6th applicant here and still waiting as well, called last week and they only told me they were working on February applicants now.
Hi Joel,
I understand ur frustration. Don't loose yourself by listening to the agents saying about feb applications.
Thats total bullshit. And 99.9% of the agents are just surface level workers who have no idea about what is actually happening and they will just tell you the info what they see on the internal system which is not up to date.

But , yes, the whole process is taken for granted and these ppl have no sense to consider the impact of returning the whole package instead of proceeding and asking for the missing documents.

As long as you have submitted all the documents, u should get the AOR.

The signatures on the application forms are valid for 3 months from the date it was signed. Since you have way passed this time frame you should resign the application forms. Also, make sure you use the most recent versions of each form and not the old version. Check out IRCC website to ensure the forms you are using are the correct version.
When you resubmit, include a short cover letter explaining you have included the requested document mentioned along with a copy of IRCC letter you got with your returned package.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
Hello Raju,

Thanks for the response.
Is it mentioned anywhere in CIC about the 3 months validity for the signatures?
Im confused bcoz, the application was submitted in march and probably processed in end of august, which is almost 6 months.

So how do they consider the application, especially when somebody wants to resubmit the package instead of a new one?

Hi,

Since the vac is still closed in India, we are thinking to do it outside India. Has anyone done the same and anyone knows how long we have to be quarantined in other countries like Dubai, Srilanka etc?

I had called and asked IRCC when I was in the same situation as yours.
You can take a chance and resubmit with old signatures or you can call and ask IRCC.

Not sure about their quarantine policy. But as of Oct 30 2020 Sri Lanka has closed Canada VAC (just read on their website: https://visa.vfsglobal.com/lka/en/can/). Not sure what's the situation in Dubai.
