Yes, the numbers don't lie. You see the problem with getting a study permit if you are a mature individual is trying to convince the visa officer that you have ties to your country. Unless you are a national of The Emirates it's difficult to convince the visa officer that you will leave after the duration of stay. I am not saying it's impossible, ties such as family, investments, properties, business, children, and etc might convince the visa officer. Moreover, your previous education and work experience will play a big role.Is anyone over 30+ age applied from UAE has a success story to share ? I have read in multiple places that if the applicant is over 30+ age group the VO straight away decline the application.
Hi, Thanks for the insight. With all honesty, my goal to study there is to qualify for PR. My current CRS scores don't make the cut and hence the study route. In my SOP I do intend to state that I will be going back home & live alongside my parents. My father has 2 apartments & he will transfer one of the apartment under my name as a gift deed, not sure how else can I show strong ties or will this be enough ?Yes, the numbers don't lie. If you are looking to study you might as well look somewhere else but if you are looking for a future in Canada my advice to you is to apply for a PR instead of a student visa.
I hope this helps and good luck
I'm no expert regarding this but I do advise you to have a well-written SOP that includes all the documentation such as, Back statements, investments, property papers, and registered taxpayer certificate. Even though your CRS score is not sufficient I still advise you to take this route. Make some appointments with registered immigration officers on how you can immigrate to Canada.Hi, Thanks for the insight. With all honesty, my goal to study there is to qualify for PR. I did hire a IRCC certified consultant here & spend big amount of money to get advice but I soon realised they are nothing but waste of money. Apart from this, I have spent a lot of time researching on ways to migrate & things looks good before the pandemic. My only hope was PNP's but most of them have stopped outland applicants & are only accepting poeple who are in Canada right now. I have maxed out on IELTS with a CLB 10 score and I cant do anything about age. My only option is to increase my CRS score & migrate via the Federal Express Entry route. hence, my decision to come on Study Route. It serves 2 purpose, one is to get myself a Masters Degree & other to get points to qualify for Federal Draws. I still need to try as the very thought of going back to my home country is depressing the hell out of me.I'm no expert regarding this but I do advise you to have a well-written SOP that includes all the documentation such as, Back statements, investments, property papers, and registered taxpayer certificate. Canada welcomes immigrants but the process is somewhat confusing and you need to be someone who is educated and has work experience. I see people with success stories that only have a minimum of a few years of work experience IELTS above 5.5. It all depends upon how well you're dedicated to this.
Even though I'm not a national of UAE I was born and raised up here and to me it's my home so I do feel you the pain of going back to somewhere our passports dictates us to be. In your case applying for a study permit from UAE is somewhat risky but nevertheless, I wish you the best of luck. Your best bet is to show all the ties to your country no matter how small it may seem. Use your parents as one of the ties, get that property if you can, tax certificates, few investments in your country would make a difference. Anything that can prove that you will return, even if there is someone in your house with a disability/sick or relies on your support, USE it But remember you would need to show proof of everything you say in your SOP.I did hire a IRCC certified consultant here & spend big amount of money to get advice but I soon realised they are nothing but waste of money. I also want to know any success story where the applicant was above 30 and got study permit+SOWP from UAE. Well, I have an AIP if that counts, and I'm 42. All the documentation is complete including a very detailed SOP/LOI. My university isn't on the approved DLIs list with COVID readiness plan yet and probably that's why I haven't heard from IRCC.I also want to know any success story where the applicant was above 30 and got study permit+SOWP from UAE. Excellent news. May I ask what program you are pursuing?Well, I have an AIP if that counts, and I'm 42. All the documentation is complete including a very detailed SOP/LOI. My university isn't on the approved DLIs list with COVID readiness plan yet and probably that's why I haven't heard from IRCC.
Master's in IT SecurityExcellent news. May I ask what program you are pursuing?
Yet another confirmation that VO's in Abu Dhabi will rarely approve a SP for an applicant that is over 30 who is pursuing a PGD. I am not surprised you received an AIP and your application will most probably be approved. Good luck, keep us posted.Master's in IT Security
One of my friend who is 32/33, going to TRU for PGD program. recently got her OPR.Is anyone over 30+ age applied from UAE has a success story to share ? I have read in multiple places that if the applicant is over 30+ age group the VO straight away decline the application.
PG program as in Masters or Diploma? I know they are the equivalent but not entirely the same where international students are concerned. One of my friend who is 32/33, going to TRU for PG program. recently got her OPR.
Don't believe in rumors. Have a steady study plan and opt for masters degree in reputed university.
Apologies...But What I mean is " Post Graduate Diploma " from TRUPG program as in Masters or Diploma? I know they are the equivalent but not entirely the same where international students are concerned.
