So far PPR's are only being sent for SDS files from CPC Ottawa, does that mean the general files (non-sds) are in big trouble now since Delhi HC is adamant to open their offices and send PPR's ???? That's insane and bad news...

Hi how do you know that PPR are only issued from SDS Ottawa so far?
Yes, one Indian ( SDS ) on this forum ( @Rajivk937 ) received PPR from CPC Ottawa as quoted above. General guys are stuck with BVL'S and so far I have seen only one or two general guys ( applied in march ) receiving PPR but I guess SDS guys are the ones receiving more PPR's now.

Maybe a stupid question, but how do you know your office? Is your office address stated on your AIP?

SDS files from India are processed in CPC Edmonton to determine the eligibility ( approved or refused ) and then later on they are sent to the secondary office CPC Ottawa to finalise the remnant procedure for PPR. Hence SDS people will receive PPR requests only from Ottawa. Usually if there is no address mentioned it means that it was processed within Canada.

General files are done usually by Delhi-HC and sometimes rarely some other office maybe involved.

Yaa that’s what I am wondering. I am a non-SDS, and there’s no adresse on my AIP. And I’m pretty sure my application is process in Canada, since every time I got the responses for my webforms emails is Canadian working time. So strange lol

You can find which office is working on your file just to be sure by applying GCMS notes.

For those having Indian HC as the primary/secondary office, I really hope the situation gets better. Since they have openly made a statement that they are being very choosy on to whom to send the PPR ( DLI on the list, etc.. ) and are very slow in their ways and have said that it will be mostly invite only on twitter, even if the VFS centres open.

They are obliged to give the PPR before April 2021 since that's the IRCC's deadline for online learning and they must follow that specific guideline. There is no doubt that you will receive it by that time but the waiting game according to the current trend is very bad for those affiliated with Indian HC and I really hope the lazy people at the Delhi HC change their ways.

WTF April 2021??
For winter application there is no 2 stage approval so they have to give decision before December or in December.
And there is no way they going to issue OPR for winter application before clearing the backlogs for Fall applicants. So, Every Fall applicant with DLI in list will get OPR in Nov for sure.
