Hi All, Did anyone who received their fingerprints request received any kind of confirmation that the FP's were received back by IRCC. I gave my Fingerprints on 14th September (at Commissionaires Office in Vancouver) and they told me that it will be sent directly by RCMP to IRCC, I called IRCC since they only give you 30 days for FP's to be submitted back but they have yet not received any fingerprints. I filled up an online form last week too requesting the status because the agent on phone could not find anything but still there is no response. Does anybody have any experience in this regard? I am planning to call them again on Monday morning but I wonder if I should call commissionaires office in Vancouver?

Wondering if it takes 30 days to reach IRCC. Can't we check with RCMP ? Based on the number provided by commissionaires ??

Heard it won't take more than 1 week to send even for RCMP.

I didn't knew if I could pursue this with RCMP directly, but maybe tomorrow I will call commissionaires office to check what exactly happened with the file

Give a try .. I guess RCMP should have all the details of your records as they received from Commissionaires...
Like you said better check with Comm first

1) Called commissionaires office today - they asked me to directly call RCMP Ottawa since they send the info to them
2) Called RCMP Ottawa - they said their call centre is closed, so the only option is to basically send them an email.
3) Email sent received acknowledgement of email

I will update this thread once I get any information just in case somebody else is going through the same.

Update: RCMP replied with the date and details about when they sent the updates to IRCC, so now the final check has to be done with IRCC, it seems IRCC employees are just being lazy and have not updated their system since RCMP sent them the info on 21st September

So if I understand it correctly
14 Sep - You gave Request to Commissionaires Office in Vancouver
21 Sep- RCMP sent to IRCC

It took 1 week for RCMP to get the details from Commissionaires

As they are digital IRCC should be receive from RCMP immediately, worst case scenario 1 week

Altogether, they should get the report within 2-3 weeks not more than that.

14 Sep - RCMP received my digital fingerprints
21 Sep - RCMP finished their work and sent the details to IRCC
21-Sep - till date - IRCC officer has not updated any kind of details

I also called IRCC again today and the lady over the phone told me that she still doesn't see any information on my file, she said everything is slow and she has observed some FP's statuses taking 2 months to be updated by Officers. She mentioned she will add a note on my file that I have done everything requested and it is a matter of who is working on the file to update it. She said at this point in time I cannot do much but just wait.

At least I have closed all the loops now, I have a written reply from RCMP now that details when they sent the details to IRCC so hopefully I have a strong case if in case IRCC suddenly wakes up and asks me why I didn't do my fingerprints on time

Finally, a confirmation that they received my fingerprints, what is surprising is that they are stating that they received my fingerprints today 27th October which is 5 weeks after RCMP sent them the details, so to summarize the thread I would advise everyone who has things pending to follow up till you get confirmation.

I want to go outside Canada for long time. Is it better to get fingerprint RCMP before if they request in future or what’s the best option in this case ?

Heard they are are authorized RCMP outside Canada . Still you can send the FP request done outside Canada based on the country you are located .

It was advised to send FP request only when you get from IRCC.
