That's not the KINGSTON VO it's automatic once the medical is sent to IRCC. I believe there is a delay with the medicals overall at the moment. I got the 2 week updated to received and my January application is still in Nova Scotia.

Hey everyone, I noticed that my status in ECAS changed from "application received" to "in process", So I hope I hear something from them soon. Anyone else received some news?

Oh boy...I am an essential worker and have a full time job. I could never get enough time off work plus the expense to just fly down and come right back. Wish I could go spend a couple weeks since it will be awhile before we go back to visit. But then I would also need to quarantine here for another two weeks then have time to take him to get his SIN # and beginners drivers license. Problem is that he has never even been in an airport other then to drop me off let alone on an airplane and into a foreign country trying to make his way through immigration at Pearson. I don’t know what to do.

Dont worry about it, I was in the same situation. Never travelled or anything and my wife is an essential worker so she couldnt come with me. Once he lands, they will tell him where to go and it took like 10 minuets to deal with immigration.

I got nothin...today marks 3 weeks since hubby’s passport was sent. Still hoping it’s coming back soon

Thanks...I’m sure he will be alright I just really wanted to be there with him to share the experience. Makes me kinda sad is all that I don’t see how he reacts to being on his first plane or stepping foot into this country

I feel like since October came around that they just want to clear stuff up. They should do it quicker since he was approved back in March already and they never sent passport request and we just found out through MP’s office or we would probably still be sitting here waiting

Ohhh you got me a little excited...because when they sent the letter finally 3 weeks ago to request the passport I notice the decision made changed to in process...so just now that you said that I just checked it and it now says decision made again so maybe passport is on its way back...I’m so excited and I just can’t hide it...lol

My MP told me once it says decision made it takes 1 to 2 business days for passports to come back so let's cross our fingers on this.
