As per my GCMS, eligibility is recommended interview. As per notes, it is due to previous refusal, subsequent reconsideration request, later change of different NOC of current job.

Question: how likely the "Recommended Interview" would be change. Also is it advisable to describe the whole issue in a LOE and submit proactively through webform. @legalfalcon , seeking your advise plz. Also any other recommendations would be highly appreciated.
When IRCC recommends interview, they can be two reasons for it. First, they have randomly picked up the application for quality assurance. Or second, they have some concerns regarding any of your documents or employment and want to verify that.

For most applicants the interview is a very easy step and they just answer a few questions and have a conversations. The reason for the interview I never disclosed in the GCMS notes as it is redacted.

IF you have any concerns with your documents you can send a LoE and explain it to IRCC.

I just got an ADR request from LVO to upload Schedule 4: Provincial Nominee form....It's a 1-page form basically asking you to declare you will reside in the nominating province, while filling your name, age and available settlement fund...
Has anyone here received such request before?
@legalfalcon & @caipsnotes, your input will be appreciated.

This is quite normal and nothing to worry about. Here are some additional resources

I am a new permanent resident in Canada. Can I live somewhere other than the “city of destination” on my Confirmation of Permanent Residence?
Yes, you can. As a permanent resident, you have the right to live, work or study anywhere in Canada.
However, if you became a permanent resident through the Provincial Nominee Program, the province that nominated you has chosen you to bring skills to their province.

Hey I've lurking here for a while ever since my dad said he was trying to immigrate to Canada (I'm a 19yo dependent). Timeline:
Alberta nomination Jan 2020
AOR Feb 6th
PPR Oct 15th
Application for permanent residency successful email Oct 29th
We're outland btw from the Caribbean.

When travel restrictions end my dad wants to initially visit family in Toronto for 4 weeks before going on to Calgary to permanently live. I guess this would be our first port of entry. I've seen conflicting information on whether this is allowed. Would providing plane tickets to Calgary and an address in Calgary for PR card be sufficient proof of intent for the agent at the airport? Also would 4 weeks be considered too long? @legalfalcon Would appreciate advice from anyone on this. Thanks.

Hi all, I noticed a ghost update in my account, about 2hours back. Application/profile Updated. I didn’t notice any change in my profile and it went back to normal after signing back. Just wondering if it’s a glitch or a sign of good news, plz share your thoughts guys or if any of you have experienced the same.
@legalfalcon please advise, as I read in a different forum that IRCC is testing a new system for PR candidates, this could be a sign or am I just hoping too much. Thnx.

When you land in Canada, your become a PR and as a PR, you can move to any part of Canada including Quebec. There is no requirement that you have land in your nominating province. Although, you have some residency obligations in the nominating province.

See https://bit.ly/34IH9lQ

Due to COVID, when you land you have to provide a Quarantine plan with address and other details. So if you decide to stay in a city when're you land, you will have to quarantine there.

A ghost update is just a movement in your file which can be a minor or a major one.

The new primal IRCC is testing, you will get an email for it.

You can send a webform and inquire or Call.

Hello everyone,

I recently received an offer letter for a job position in Canada. The company is US-based but it has the ability of having me working remotely from Canada and their offer is contingent upon me obtaining the Canadian PR.
My question is: should I send the offer letter to IRCC? Would it slow down the process or would it help in having my application processed faster (i.e. being picked up by an officer since I would not get there without a job)?

My AOR is February 22 and I have enough points without the job offer. My eligibility seems to be passed (waiting for GCMS notes to confirm it), but my file is not being processed since the beginning of April.

I would really appreciate your opinion.

Thanks
