As you may know there are 3 factors that increase your chances to receive an interest letter for nomination from Alberta which are below;
  • you have an Alberta job offer and/or work experience
  • you are a graduate of a Canadian post-secondary institution
  • you have a parent, child, brother and/or sister who is a permanent resident living in Alberta, or a Canadian citizen living in Alberta

I am currently studying masters in Ontario and my son has born here recently and he has Canadian citizenship. After my graduation my CRS point will be 354. If I move to Alberta as soon as I finish my master I will be fulfilling 2 of factors stated above in red color.

My question is, what are my chances to receive an interest letter from Alberta with 2 factors fulfilled and 354 CRS points?

That's a fairly low CRS score given that Alberta is cutting back on their nominations. I don't know if they have any additional requirements when it comes to whether your son would immediately count as a citizen "living in Alberta" as soon as you move there. You also didn't specify your NOC code, which can be relevant.

Sorry about that. I didn't know my profession matters. My NOC code is;
4011University professors and lecturersA

Thank you for your time.

From my understanding, the determination of ties-to-Alberta is holistic. It would have been better if you had graduated from an Alberta university. That being said, it may be possible still if you have secured employed in a valid NOC.

Alberta has not held a draw since June & the province has also cut down on its total intake from 6000 to 4000 so this years quota is almost up. They might do a draw with smaller number. In terms of the CRS scores, AINP has had reasonable cutoff in the range of 400+ and in 2019 they were raining NOI's to the NOC's in demand. The problem is they don't publish which NOC's were picked in the draw unless someone on forums like these mention.

I wouldn't completely dismiss your chances but you will have to dig into your NOC a bit as that is the most important factor followed by the one you have highlighted above.
