No body said it is easy. Definitely not easy. But you whether do that, or the chances of an ITA could be drastically reduced.

Thoughts (on what you have heard) on difference between TCF and TEF?
It’s not easy but highly rewarding and plausible if u give ur efforts. Unlike CLB9 or CLB10 in English, what CLB7 requires is only efforts and a lot of hardworking and in-put, its non-related to talents or many years living in a country francophone or whatsoever. I started learning French in January 2020, and got my ITA in September. End of the day, didn’t have to do TCF cus my work experience completed 3 years and brought me to 474. But still at that time, knowing that without learning French I could get 474 in a matter of months, I still learned French so hard like no ones business! Since then I passed DELF B2 with excellency

Learning French is totally something u can do as self-learning. Having CLB10 in English also made me feel learning french was easy and fun ..And the only cost put front should be time not money really.
6 months if u quit ur job and study full-time, 8 hours per day with high concentration and intensity. 12 months if u study Part-time with density of 2 hours each day and a willingness to switch to an intensive full-time of 8 hours during all ur weekends.
What about if you’re currently at B1? How much time will it take to reach B2?
I think that would rather be a question of the right approach rather than the amount of time. Find out what keeps u from getting B2 and sortir de ta zone conforte. If u r happy with what u r learning now and understand 90 % of the things, that’s bad news, u r not making progress anymore, so u need to change ur learning material to opt for something more difficult right away.
I wouldn’t panic at 472. You could wait and see what the next draw brings and decide what you want to do from there. IMO 472 should be good for the the next draw.
I know 472 can be considered a decent score to wait at. But IRCC has been so unpredictable that everything we achieve looks less. I started my journey with 462.
Seriously just chill. 472 is an awesome score. I got an ITA in September with that. One missed draw won't sky rocket the CRS. Seriously guys with 470+ scores, JUST CALMN DOWN!
