As per source of fund, can someone from Jamaica or anywhere in the world for that matter be used in that capacity or do I definitely need to have the funds to show?
If you mean a sponsor yes. The person just need to write an affidavit saying they will sponsor you for the duration of your studies and have the letter notarized. Provide the person bank statements as well

Definitely, I've been waiting since February & it looks like early 2020 applicants are put on the backburner. I haven't even seen much PPR's from the Caribbean. Mostly the Asian and Middle Eastern countries.
Yes and it's depressing. Like the Caribbean have people too ya know sigh

It truly is SAD! I haven’t heard of one person from the Bahamas that has been approved. And our processing time jumped from 13 weeks to 17 weeks.‍♀
