Any Southern Ontario Applicants in Windsor get Oath invite OR Retesting

Just curious about the Windsor Ontario IRCC and if its working on any application's. Has anyone gotten any Interviews or Retesting or taken their Oath from this area of Ontario?

Was there any news for retesting/interview for ontario(after we heard on Vancouver location last month)?

I contacted my local MP, first by email almost 2 weeks ago and received no reply. I then went on FB and posted on his FB page that I was looking for some answers about my Citizenship application, that was last week, again NO reply. Then on Monday I went back to his Facebook page and posted the following.

I guess you have no answer to my question about Citizenship. I am not suprised by the lack of response from our local MP, I even sent you an email asking for your time and help with NO response from that either. ELECTIONS ARE NOT THAT FAR AWAY AND NOW I KNOW WHERE I STAND WITH YOU.

I recieved a phone call from my MP and was told that someone else was going to call me, wanting more information and a call would be made on my behalf to Ottawa and they would call me back with any information that they could get.
Well it seems that the processing office in WINDSOR Ontario is completely closed and nothing has been done there since MARCH when things shut down. No updates, no processing of any application's, NOTHING.
I was also informed that they still have not done the checks needed for verification of time spent in Canada. I was told repeatedly that the only thing that needed to be done was my Interview then the Oath. I have been told that everything was in order by many people who work at IRCC but evidently I was lied to.

So good luck getting correct information on the phone, it seems that the only way to get information is to make a fuss with someone who has access to the government and that's not us.

Thanks for the eye opener , who ever is waiting for their citizenship more than 1-2 yrs they should read this post . No matter it's applicable to citizenship .. will be applied for all .
