hi guys i have a question, we received our csq request on oct 13 and sent the docs on oct 18, they have charged the credit card on October 26, does this mean we will get the AOR soon? and considering the fact that they haven't sent any CSQ request between March and July, do we still have to wait 6 months for our approval? i know that no one will know for sure how they process the files i just want to know what you guys think
You will get a aor in mail anytime when they cut your fee..i got mine after fees cut in 3 months

Hi.

We received the AoR from CSQ in the mail three days after the credit card was charged. The AoR date was the same as the day the card was charged.

We haven't received approval yet, some have received approval in less than a month, others take longer. We called MIFI and they told us that they are just processing the March applications, to be patient and that this will not interfere with the federal process.

"this will not interfere with the federal process."
LIES because your Visa Office won't start your sponsorship process until CSQ approval. The office wants to be sure that Quebec will accept you. I know because the CSQ delayed my process.

I agree with that statement. They don't seem to move your file at all until CSQ has been approved.

Unfortunately that is what they told us on the phone, in practice many of us have seen that it is completely the opposite.

The information changes each time a different agent answers us.
We cannot trust the information they give us via telephone, but it is often the only information we receive.

If the letter requests that you apply to MIDI then a copy of this letter is enough to send with the application in for CSQ.

True, it says on IRCC website that they will suspend your application when they send you the CSQ request until they get the CSQ. It didn't impact much before because the maximum delay was 25 business days.

What they mean by that is that it won't delay padded the processing times of 12 months. MIFI is often unaware of the Immigration process for this program because it's a federal one. For example, it's been several years that the application process has been streamlined and the PR application is sent at the same time as the sponsorship application. But their website still show that the sponsor needs to tell the applicant to send their APR when the CSQ is out. I have been contacting both department back and forth, including their quality team and PCQ. There is no real communication between QC and the federal. They should remove the suspension from the process as people from the rest of Canada get their inland PR application processed before they receive SA. Anyway, just wanted to give the background of what they mean when they say it won't affect. That's what they are being told and what's written on the website. I've watched sessions parlementaires where they were discussing the delays of CSQ and even the spokesperson from the Ministers office (I think the sous-ministre) was clueless. But that was few months ago.

Hi. you need to send different CSQ application to MDI by postmail, based on my experience after 2-3 months you will received AOR after sending the app, then after another 4-6 months for the CSQ decision. Please note the CSQ form is in french language. :)

But still Quebec Immigration and Quebec government are not doing anything to improve the situation. Actually, it's Legault who wants to restrict immigration so I guess make immigrants' lives as much as miserable.
