Seems like Greater Toronto Area is getting a ton of calls. For July applicants inland already. Depends on your location.

I am in GTA as well. But you said July applicants are getting calls. I am a dec applicant .. it seems it is going to be a long wait.

what why July applicants need to give biometerics ? Isn't only aplicants who apply after 3rd Dec need to give biometerics ?

You don't have to givebiometrics if you've a valid one on file. I didn't do biometrics. They updated my file with the old one.

We are dec 4th applicants. My husband got the call to schedule the biometrics. He’ll do it next Tuesday.
He is here as a student since dec 2018, he gave the biometrics back home October 2018. He wouldn’t need to give it again because only 2 years had passed, but I guess because we paid the biometrics at the beginning of the process, they requested. They don’t wanna give money back to anyone hahaah

I got this update last week.

yesterday missed the call from service Ontario for the biometerics and they left the voicemail.
Today 9:30 am got a call again to book appointment for Biometerics.
the lady told me that Hamilton Passport center is booked till January.
But Mississauga and Brampton has opened after hour services from today for biometerics.
so got an appintment for tommorow 6;15 pm.

No, but we had 2 police clearance certificates to upload. I'm not sure if that delays things a but it not, we are Dec 6th, so if a few weeks go by and nothing I will assume that we are going to take a little longer.
