Apply for PR from India or Canada?

I am a student in Canada right now. After graduation I’ll be applying for PR. Should I apply through an agent here in Canada or from India? Is there any difference apart from cost of agent?

It doesn't really matter. You can apply without an agent. Suggest you avoid agents located in India. If you want someone to help you with your application, hire a Canadian immigration lawyer.
