They won't get back to us until AoR. Some people call them after a few months and they receive a temporary file number. I'm planning to call them in December just to check. Nowadays AoRs take 6-7 months unfortunately.

What is the number that we should call...my application is sent to sydeney office on july 20th

+1 (888) 242-2100. Press 2, then 1, then 0 when they ask you for options. Try calling them early in the morning. Let me know if you finally got the temp number.

I called CIC today and they said you are supposed to receive AOR around 6 months. I send my Application on Aug 1 and AR on Aug 7. Still waiting for AOR

I've read in other threads that people call and get temporary file numbers. I just wonder how much time needs to pass in order to call them. I was planning to call them around November 20, after two months of them getting the application in the mailroom.

This is so crazy man . 6-7 months for file number come on . What if it returned 7-8 months (half year $ wasted.

No temporary number either. My AR was on 1 April. It is been 6 months and 4 weeks now
