Hello everyone,

My wife and I sent our application as a family. She is the principal. She got following E-mails today.

First:
"UCI: xxxxx
Application No.: xxxxxx
Quote these numbers when corresponding with our office.

This is an automated message. Please DO NOT RESPOND to this message.

Dear xxxxxxx,

This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on 2020/01/27."

1min later:

"Unique Client Identifier (UCI): xxxxx
Application Number: xxxxx

Please note: When you contact us, please use your UCI and Application number.

Dear xxxxx:

To continue processing your application, you must link your application to an online account."

We linked the application but no message. My questions are:
1. Does anyone know, if those emails mean the AOR?
2. Shouldn't I get the same emails as her dependent too?
Hii there,
Any update after this??

Hello everyone.

Noob question: I just submitted paper based PR application a few days back. Is it possible to track it online before I receive the AOR? I understand that AOR is taking >6 months. So how to confirm if IRCC received the application?

Hi Experts ,

Need your suggestion.

I am in Calgary (Canada) having a workpermit valid until December 2021. I have had a nomination from Alberta province . I have filed paper based nomination in the month of July .

Do you think if everything goes fine I would be able to get my PR before my workpermit ends in December 21

Dear AAAA BBBB ,

This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on 20XX/YY/ZZ.

When should I contact IRCC?
You must notify IRCC of any changes to your application. Examples of changes include:
• Changes in your personal circumstances, such as birth or adoption of a child, a marriage or a divorce

• Appointment or change of immigration representative or designated individual
• Decision to withdraw your application
To notify IRCC of changes to your application, visit www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions.asp, select the office stated below, and follow the directions for “Case Specific Enquiry.”
When will IRCC contact me?
IRCC will contact you if we require additional information, documents, or an interview. For general guidance on what to expect, you can visit https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/apply-permanent-residence/how-we-assess.html and consult the “What happens next” section of the instruction guide associated with the application form you used.

How do I check the status of my application?
You may use either the Unique Client Identifier (UCI) or Application Number above to check the status of your application on the IRCC website. Please visit http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp and select what you applied for.
Or for instant email updates and more detailed, up-to-date case status, create an online account. Find out how: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/link.asp.

How long will it take to process my application?
Processing times vary. You can consult the processing times for reference at: www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times
