Congrats! Is your official pdf copr T number same as Gcms T number under 'Finalize Application- Documet Issuance'?

Thanks!
I haven't ordered by GCMS notes so can't answer your question now. However, I raised a request and once I get my update, I will repost it on this thread.

What happens if your medical expires? Can you go do another one before the other one expires? Or do you have to wait for an official letter for them? Is there any timeline you have to do the medical since you receive the letter? @legalfalcon (Thank you legal falcon for your help :))
Hey, I would recommend you to wait till you are notified. My medicals got expired during early stage of processing my application.(within 45 days after AOR). But the officer extended my medicals before approving my application.

Hello All,
I just spoke with an agent and he said that my application was sent to local office in Montreal and everything is still under
review:(. That is all he said. Can you please tell me what it means? I live in Vancouver, and I don't get this local office thing.
(AOR Feb-17). @legalfalcon

All application are sent to different officer based on work load distribution and. Montreal is one of many office's where your application may be processed. There is nothing alarming in it.

However, the main question is at what stage is your application. If your eligibility passed or is it still under review. That is what you should be looking to find. You can send a webform and ask IRCC about it or alternatively you can request your GCMS notes.

To send a webformhttps://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
To read and understand webform response see https://bit.ly/2HkcLVD

To read on the stages of an EE application, see https://bit.ly/349uKaa

Hope this helps!

@Magnolian

All application have to have their medicals valid when the file the application as well as the medical have to be valid also when an applicant lands in Canada. When your application reaches the final review stages after everything is passed, and if your medicals are about to expire or may have already expired, IRCC officer will send your medicals for reassessment to the Regional Medical Officer who will make a determination on whether to extend them or ask for a re-med.

An applicant has no say in it as it is at the discretion of the RMO. However, since many applications were delayed due to COVID, medicals for many applicants had expired or were about to expire. IRCC for many of them is granting extensions.

It takes about 30 days or less and in a few cases longer. Compared to IRCC, CBSA will send the information more often on the 30 day mark but there is less chance of delays with them. If inland one can request it for free from CBSA as well, Gcms Notes along with the security screening updates

Dear subramani_vs when I stared this group in March 2020 I noticed your profile matched with mine. Since then I am following your posts and comments almost daily basis. Brother your thoughtful comments, your news on other websites, or other groups helped me a lot to have patience.

And about your query, I am from Bangladesh and currently living in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh.

Hi there, yes it's free to request your own information under the Privacy Act if you are inland. You didn't have to pay $5 if all you were requesting is your own information. To request for free all you have to do is select the Privacy Act and you will not be asked to pay! (More details here >> https://help.gcmsnotes.com/how-to-order/for-free)

The Canada Border Services Agency is a federal law enforcement agency that is responsible for border control, immigration enforcement, and customs services in Canada. The CBSA is accountable to Parliament through the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness. Wikipedia

You can request your Gcms Notes and more from CBSA as well instead of IRCC

Brother, the office to send your passport to is Singapore VO, right? If that is the case, your situation is easier than you think. What you need to do is use DHL to send the documents to VFS office in Singapore and they will deliver your package to Singapore VO. Once decision is made on your application and visa and COPR printed, the VO will pass to VFS and VFS will pass to DHL. DHL will then send to your address. This is how VFS deals with countries where there is no functioning office or no office at all.

Contact Singapore VFS on their phone and they will guide you with the steps.

I tried to do two things simultaniously. (1) I tried to start a chat, but I did not notice that it was already

I did two things simultaneously yesterday. First, as per your advice, I started a chat on the link you shared with Singapore VAC, without noticing that office hours is over for that day. Secondly, I raised a webform. It was a surprise that they replied within 8 hours or so (although the after submission it showed that the reply may come within 28 days. The reply was as follows :

"Visa Application Centres (VAC) in Bangladesh is temporarily closed. Please note that sending passports into or out of Bangladesh by mail or courier is contrary to Bangladesh law. The only approved shipping method is via our Visa Application Centres (VAC) in Bangladesh.

For updates on the resumption of services at VACs, please monitor their website at: https://www.vfsglobal.ca/Canada/Bangladesh/".

Welcome to comment on my next move forward.
