Hello everyone,
I have a few questions about jobs covered under NAFTA. I am an American who will be moving to Canada soon. I have applied for a few jobs related to Urban Planner (NOC 2153). My questions are:
1. What must be shown in the job announcement/job offer to illustrate that the job is for an "urban planner". For example, if the job title is anything other than "urban planner" is that ok? I have applied for jobs where the requirements state that a degree in urban planning is required, but the job title is not "urban planner" verbatim.
2. It is my understanding that LMO are not needed for jobs covered by NAFTA, is that correct?
3. If I am offered a job, what will I need to do? Go to a POE and show an immigration officer the written job offer?
Thanks very much.
