Please advise, my mother’s file is in process and she’s in Canada. She has renewed her passport (old passport expiring in March 2021), should we update her new passport and what will be the best way to do it. Also will it delay the process?

You should receive an email with a formal letter within the next week or so outlining the decision made.

Send a copy of her new passport via webform. It will not delay the process.

It has been awhile didn't check the application status and I saw my father's application has been made decision. But I haven't received any mail or email from CIC yet. What is the next step? Is there also a chance that they will request for an additional information?

Application for Permanent Residence for my parent was forwarded to Mexico (Venezuelan)

I haven't heard anything since Feb 27, 2020. Anyone else who heard anything from Mexico? not updates on the ,status online nothing.

Where is your mom living - in Canada or in India? I am in somewhat similar situation, my mother is in Delhi, PCC/BM were done January, awaiting further instructions from assigned VO which is CPC-M.

The request letter is dated Oct 17, 2020 (Saturday) so I guess it was requested sometime yesterday but I opened it in the morning.
