IRCC is not going to answer any questions till Monday 9 AM.
I am guessing that the online services may go down and maybe Tuesday we can expect PPRs. But the likelihood of getting new PPR is very less since they are trying to solve the cases of people who have received PPR before March 18th.
Once these cases are cleared they might start issuing new PPR.
This is only a guess from my side!

OK how about a written Affidavit with NO money that we are FULLY responsible and dept can arrest spouse if other disappears?
Scenario:
Rich Canadian wife sponsors poor man from anywhere:
Poor man says "I only have $5 under my matress"
Rich wife says " Dont worry I will deposit $10,000 with ircc on your behalf"
Poor man thinks- Whoo!!!
Poor man arrives in Canada, next day he moves out and disappears
Rich woman forfeits $10,000 .... complains to ircc "I was scammed!"
IRCC says " Too bad you signed the paper"
Rich woman writes to MP "I was scammed and ircc does nothing"
MP writes to Mendicino "This is a very bad idea for Canadians"
Mendicino to IRCC " Stop the BOND program immediately"

Recently in Oct. Ecas got updated from 'application submitted' to 'in process'.
Got a phone call 2 days back from High Commission of Canada and asked few questions for around 10mins.
Received Pre Arrival Services mail 17th Oct 2020.
This was very good I almost guarantee U expect PPR very soon. Your interview was done over the phone due to Covid 19 and just wait for a PPR.
