do you think CIC would reopen my application if I send them the actual certificate?? or is it too late now
Generally speaking, they do not reopen unless they have made a mistake. In this case, if you did not attach the certificate, the mistake was unfortunately on your part. You can of course try to reopen the case, but realistically you would need to make a new application. Sorry about this again.

I have CEC-O EE application.

I claimed 2 years of Canada Experience for CRS points and submitted my application with AOR - Aug 25. but I didn't stay/work in Canada for 24 months. I started my work on 26- MAR-2017 but left the country on 20-Mar-2019. Means, I left the country 5 days before I complete 24 months exactly. I thought I meet required number of hours to claim 2 years of work experience in Canada.

Do they check if I have worked for 2 years (24 months) or will it be based on the hours?. I was working as a Full time employee (40 hrs a week). Pls help. Am I not eligible to claim 2 years of CEC experience? Thanks in advance.
Any hours over 30 hours per week are not counted, in my opinion. If you are counting 2 years based on 40 hours per week, I don't think that's how they count. Because if that were the case, then theoretically, someone could work two jobs totalling up to 60 hours per week and claim 2 years of work experience after working just 1 year.

Since the difference is only 5 days though, maybe someone else on the thread can offer better input. Try asking in the CEC thread?

Don't freak out yet. Sometimes, you can still finish up the last bit of your work remotely, if your employer allows. Importantly, when exactly did you quit the job—the date is important. The reference letter should ideally mention dates when you joined and quit and that period should add up to 24 months, not be short of those 5 days. Are the dates on your reference letter short of those 5 days?

I didn't quit that job yet.

I am still working for that job from my home country and paid in my home country currency. And I submitted my application based on the details provided in below link. You can read "
within the three years before you apply, at least:

  • 12 months of full-time work:
    • 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours), OR"
https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=664&top=29

I am bit worried now for not completing those 5 days in Canada.

Okay, so if you did not quit yet, that should work—or at least, there should be a workable solution. Does that mean your reference letter from that job (or other proofs that you provided) did not show an end date? Does the letter say something similar to "joined our organisation on X date and is currently employed as..."? Technically, if you are still working and have been working there, then it is totally fine to claim 2 years because you DO have 2 years. However, what I would have done in your case is to have explained this situation to IRCC in my LOE—in order to avoid any doubts caused because of your travel history which will show them that you left Canada. If you did not explain this already in an LOE at the time of submitting, ask someone more experienced on this forum for advice.

Personally, this is what I would do now (check with legalfalcon or someone else if it is necessary to do this or not): I would write an explanation in a new LOE now and upload it via CSE webform asap. I would write something like this: "Dear IRCC Officer, It has just come to my attention that my travel history may appear to be in conflict with my claimed years of work experience. Therefore, I am writing to clarify that although I left Canada on X date, I DO indeed have the amount of work exp I am claiming, because I have continued to work remotely for the same employer throughout this time without any breaks. I was working in-person until X date and switched to remote work on X date until present. I confirm that my job title, job duties, and work hours per week have remained the same throughout in consistence with the reference letter I had attached as part of my application—the only change has been a switch to remote work. As evidence, I attach the pay stubs of my last month of working in-person in Canada, followed by the pay stubs of the months thereafter, when I have not been physically present in Canada but have continued working. Thank you for making note of this. I remain at your disposal to provide any further information in this regard."

Combine a letter like this along with pay stubs into a single document, upload via webform.

Perfect. Thanks my friend.

My Reference letter says that I was employed f rom x date to Till date with Full time employment.

I today only wrote an LOE with details along with my employment letter, Pay stubs, Tax forms and attached it in CSE. lets see how it goes.

Any experiences? Thank you.

AOR 4th August
BIL and ADR- 23rd September
ADR was for the RCMP police certificate which was submitted on 24th August.
Ghost update -24th September
5th October (another update) We are reviewing the additional documents you provided.

For someone weird reason my medicals are not passed yet, which was also confirmed by the IRCC agent. My visa office is Ottawa. Is someone else in a similar situation?

In the month of July , CA Government prioritized Work permits, LMIA for certain NOC codes associated with Medical background and others. Wondering if similar directions are for PR processing as well ? (For particular NOC codes) . If anyone in this group has this information please share it with me.
