I don't understand how so many people here received AOR within 2 months after their application has been received. I have been waiting for 5 months now and all I got was a letter saying that my application has been recieved on May 12th and they will send me UCI some time after they check it all. I cant check my application status online at all. Has anyone else been waiting for that long?

Also may inland applicant here, and still waiting! No biometric reminder email, temp aor and unable to link application. Patiently waiting ...
Feels a bit better that I am not alone. I thought to call them but they will probably just tell me ones again about the covid delays. I am on implied status since last month and it's not fun at all. Good luck to you! Hopefully will hear from them soon...

You dont have to book any appointment yet for biometrics. Service canada is not accepting new appointments and is currently doing biometrics only for the previous backlogged applicants. As soon as new appointments are open, they will update website till then relax

Medical request received: October 14, 2020.

No, it doesn't in a way as you have to pay for x-ray out of pocket and you are looking at about $300 - $400.
You must go for yours medical exam within 30 days of receiving these instructions.
