Hello everyone, as an international student I meet with all the requirements but I only have one question about the $5000 rule. I have made over 5k in the last 12 months and the restaurant I'm working at is closed for dine-in so most likely I'll be terminated. My question is for CRB it says you have to apply every two weeks to see if you're eligible. But in a month the money I've made in the last 12 months will be less than 5k. Does that mean I can only apply for one period? or I don't need to meet with 5k criteria every period? I called CRA but it's impossible to talk to anyone.

Did you lose your job in Canada due to covid? Based on your previous posts you quit your job in Canada sometinlme last year so you didn't wualify for CERB and planned on returning home to work. When did you work, did you work in Canada or abroad and how much did you earn?

Hello,

hello yes I went back and did not apply to cerb or anything. The restaurant I’m working at closed for dine in, and most likely I’ll be terminated. I meet with all the requirements of crb and ei. Please correct me if I’m wrong but since I’m eligible for ei I thinks I need to apply to that. There’s just one thing makes me confused on some websites it says full
time students are not eligible for ei. Is that true? I don’t see anything related to that on CRA website. Btw I live in toronto and dine in closed again so due to covid I’m losing my job. Thanks
