Canadian study permit from Pakistan

I am from Pakistan. I am graduating in English literature and Applied LINGUISTICS. The field of my degree is SOCIAL SCIENCES , SO I am planning to do master in HUMAN RESOURCES OR IN APPLIED LINGUISTICS FROM CANADA.I am currently studying in the sixth semester.
My graduation will be complete in the coming June, and I am also going to appear in academic IELTS in November.
I am pretty sure I ll get 6 plus bands in each module .
I ll apply under SDS stream for Canada study visa. SDS stream is available for Pakistan too.
My sister is a Canadian citizen, will this have repercussions for my application of student visa???
Please suggest me what I should do in order to make my case strong . My CGPA( GRADES ) IS ALSO GOOD 3.5/4. i ll also get good band score in IELTS. My percentages in school and college were respectively 88%and 89 %.
Please guide me what I should do , and which field (Human Resources or applied linguistics) I should choose!!

Having family in Canada reduces your ties to Pakistan, so you need to take extra care to demonstrate that you do not intend to illegally stay with her and will return home after graduation. You should go for a master's in linguistics and explain why doing it will improve your job prospects in Pakistan.

My sister is living in Edmonton, so I should try to get admission in another province rather than Alberta in order to strengthen my case.
