When was your ECAS status changed from application received to in process ? And in how many days did you receive pre arrival ?

Hi Folks,

I had applied for my spouse PR in July 2019. I haven't received any update since January 2020. My file transferred to new delhi visa office in december and In January I received additional photos request from New delhi visa office. I ordered GCMS notes recently. What i can see from notes is CPC mississauga officer has commented "***Officer Review*** Mission Referral"

What does it mean? Does it mean they have concerns?

Hi Everyone, Finally we have a good news today after the ghost update yesterday. Our application status has changed to "IN PROCESS " and we have also received the Pre-Arrival Services Letter

Medicals & Bio-metrics - Approved in Dec 2019
Application received by NDVO - Jan 29,2020
AOR- 2- October 2,2020
Pre-Arrival Letter - October 2,2020

I am not an expert on GCMS notes but REFERRAL means to give it to someone for further review or consultation. I am a July applicant as well my file was moved in November and I’m still waiting for an update.

I’m sorry I cannot comment on that as I am not an expert. But if it makes you feel at ease then you should know that most of July applicants are still waiting for pre-arrival you are not the only one.

I think.. we will not get pre arrival..
Because why september files gtting pa first..rather than us
We may get dm or ppr now.

Officer in Canada wants local NDVO before a DM can be made. It may not be that serious small doubt which only NDVO can verify or investigate
