I did not have to sign anything or send them anything except all my husbands immigration information through an email so they could look into it...today we just got the passport request. Without the MP we would likely still be waiting for information on a Visa that was approved in March 2020. I’m just glad we have reach the passport requesting stage finally

We informed them of the email we received today requesting my husbands passport and they immediately sent us an email back...

Each municipality has their own MP and they will verify where your spouse lives to be sure it is the correct Minister within their area. Reach out to them because they can be very helpful to get information you cannot. Mine followed up and offered to assist in any way we needed them to. They made phone calls and relayed all information back to me and called regularily to see if we had heard anything back from IRCC.

You're not at a year as yet. All they might do is tell you the current status. They say to reach out to the MP after you have passed the 1 year mark with no decision.

You can order your GSMC notes to see where the application is at on your own. You have to be in Canada to do so and it takes about a month to get back.

We applied in April 2019 and they are not requesting anything to be redone even though his police certificate expired in March/20 and medicals in July/20. I feel they may be a little more forgiving due to Covid and to get some of these files cleaned up

My husband application is July 2019 and they contacted him in August to redue his police clearance and his medical will expire October 17 2020

You're not at a year as yet. All they might do is tell you the current status. They say to reach out to the MP after you have passed the 1 year mark with no decision.

You can order your GSMC notes to see where the application is at on your own. You have to be in Canada to do so and it takes about a month to get back.

I was pregnant when we started the application, gave birth in July, informed them through the web form, they said I should send an email with his birth certificate then instructions will follow , I did a week later and no instructions follow, no reply from them since , I even contacted them again on the web form, because I'm thinking I didn't send it properly, no reply either, so I'm just here not getting any movements. At least if they could send us the instructions to add our baby that would be good, I would do that and continue the waitinf process. Its really hard being away from his dad, I want them to start bonding. Its 12 weeks or so to the time I apply so I'm praying they give us something soon.

Oh so sorry. Did you go direct to Kingston with the webform? The link I posted is a few posts back. It seemed to work for Canadian Sensation. I misunderstood. Maybe the MP will be able to help. I believe some people have listed the documents they request somewhere in this forum. I'll look if I see it and try to get you a Headstart.

Yes the best thing to do is contact your MP i did yesterday and they already starting on my husband application hopefully I hear something soon but again of your 1 year has not pass it doesn't make sense

IMM0008 (generic application form for canada) for PA only and IMM5406 (additional family information form) for PA and spouse.

Also they ask for $150.00 CAD processing fee for new child.

I have his passport and birth certificate, I sent them the birth certificate via email already, that was their last instructions , they said they wouod follow with the other instructions but they never did.. So I'm wondering if I should go ahead and do the addtion or wait for them to tell me what to do?

Probably write them again and fill out the forms in the meantime. If you hear nothing in 2 weeks involve the MP. Doesn't hurt to have everything ready for when you actually get the instructions. Less things to fill out at the time.
