There is no problem with AGE as such to study abroad. But the thing is as per CIC laws, students whom they suspect as immigrants in disguise rather apply via immigration.

Here is what i was told - if you REALLY want to upgrade ur skills and then live there, then u take one year course. Go there and see if you like it, if not come back if yes. then extend your study visa with another one year course. becoz U cannot do a Diploma after you do a Bachelors course.. thats like going back to 12th standard after u are already a BCOM. Simply put just for your understanding.

U can apply via non SPP if you fit the bill. Atleast in my case, I did my b-com in year 2000! So chill, and yes, where there is a will, there is always more than just one way! Figure out what you want to do based on your past experience. But study visa is a very expensive way to go there.

It would be good if it can be helpful for atleast one person...... All things u need to remember while preparing SOP is
Highlight ur academics and explain them if u have good academics.
Then corelate ur past education/work experience to ur desired course.
Explain how this course is useful for you and how this helps to settle down in ur home country/ Explain the future prospects of ur course.
Dnt prepare big essays. Try to minimise the SOP for 1-1.5 page.
I wish all of you shuld get ur visas..... Praise the Lord !!!!

I was Kindled with an ambition of higher education that would give a desired push to my career. I am prepared to further deepen and refine my expertise through Biotechnology Course which has led me to take admission in one of the top Colleges, Centennial College, Canada.

I was brought up in a well educated family and this helped me to maintain a consistent and excellent academic record; I secured Distinction marks in SSC and Intermediate. During my Bachelors, I submitted many research papers in worldwide and India wide seminars like IPC, IPA, National seminars where 12 of my Research papers were published in Medical and Pharmacy Journals. I was also awarded a "Gold medal" for a Seminar conducted by Indian Pharmaceutical Congress which provided me a wonderful platform to meet the top heads of Pharmaceutical Industry in the country.

I Started my career as an Asst. Manufacturing Chemist in Triomed Formulations India(Pvt) Ltd as soon as i was graduated. Then i opted for a Subject Knowledge Enhancement Course (Student Associate)from University of East London, UK where i interacted with various Staff and Students on a regular basis and perfectly abided the laws of the Country. This experience was very helpful because not only did it improve my learning and understanding of various scientific techniques, but also improved my ability to co operate and communicate effectively which helped me in my personal growth as well. Within a short span, I was appointed as an Analyst for Plant Pharmaceuticals in Quality Control Department in Alapati Pharma, a top well known Pharma Company in India.

The Biotechnology technologist which I intend to do cover a range of topics related to the biological techniques, Pharmaceutical microbiology, Food chemistry and biochemistry. I would be exposed to the processes involved in isolation, enumeration and identification of micro organisms from many types of samples. Further, the most important being the perfection of asceptic techniques and usage of micro organisms to assay Pharmaceutical products which would introduce me to the real world of Pharmacy. I will be able to master skills in usage of autoclaves, incubators, PCR thermocycles, preparation of microbiological media and reagents etc.

The advanced technology in the 21st century across the globe is the preparation and research of a medicine prepared from Living and various micro organisms (which was the main theme of Biotechnology) for which the Indian Pharma companies are opting to recruit for. Taking up Biotechnology technologist and that too on international level is something which is quite lucrative for me and the employer. I will get a wonderful chance to lay a very strong foundation for my career with global mindset. This 2 year course program structure will help me in learning in depth of the modern methods of working and keeping up with the high end technology used in the market, equipment and also will teach me about the new techniques which are used in the Industry. I am certain that my chosen course is right for me and i am sure that having this diploma would ensure better employment opportunities and a successful career back at home not only is it something that inspired me, but it is something that I have relevant experience in.

After consulting with my peers and seniors and checking course contents thoroughly, I am convinced that Canada is a better option compared to other destinations as it has developed a first rate Education system with high standards and Global recognition and especially Centennial College is well known for its advanced programs. The college provides excellent facilities and opportunities which is ideal for me in pursuing my specialization, since it provides a unique mix of educational advantages.

I am showing the sufficient funds with my Family support to meet the College Tuition fee, travelling expenses and my living cost during my stay in Canada. I have enclosed those documents with my application. Please consider my request at earliest possible, so that I would meet my course in time and also find the necessary documents attached with this application.

Hello Good afternoon, please I need help concerning my study permit application, .

I applied for study permit early June 8 and I got refusal June 28, I applied online so I only uploaded the important documents i didn't see any space for Statement of purpose.

I was refused on the basis that the officer was not satisfied I will come back based on:
My travel history
My family ties in my country and in Canada
And my purpose of visit.

Could the SOP be the solution to the three reasons for denial

Is it necessary I attach an SOP and how do I attach it to an online application. .

I need a format on how to write a good SOP.

Besides SOP is there any other documents that needs to be attached, because I never knew of SOP until my visa denial..

hey thanks for the post i too got an admission in centennial college as well for pharmacy technician(jan2021 intake) course and ive completed my b.pharmacy this yr i wanted to know will the visa be rejected if the sop is not that strong as ive completed my graduation here and applying for a diploma course will this be a problem please let me know as soon as possible please!!!!

That is bad, I recommend you to write one ASAP and send it through the webform. An app without SOP is almost an automatic refusal

I wasn't asked for one and there was no option to upload it.
I received an AIP a month later after submitted my application

SOP is under an optional document section with the name "Client Information". They are not gonna ask you for one, but you do run a chance of getting refused even after AIP. It is your ultimate decision whether to send it or not, you might get lucky. But most people are getting a fat refusal if it is missing.

SOP is not required for study permit application.

There is no such thing as refusal because you didn't submit an SOP.
