Hi GCMS Experts, My question is about Eligibility.

Applied for GCMS on 7th Sept. Received 5th Oct.

My question is why they've change eligibility value from Passed to Not Started ? Any Clue ??

On the 2nd Page of my Notes I found following details.

Visa Office : CPC-Ottawa
Secondary Office: CIO

Assessment:
Eligibly :Not Started
Security: Not Started
Criminality: In progress
Medical: Passed
Info Sharing: In Progress

Other fields are blank.

But,

On History - Application Section,

It says:

This is normal.
'Passed - Candidate' is an automatic status which gets applied when you transmit all the document. Post that it becomes 'Not Started'.
Usually, if your application is in good shape, IRCC validates your eligibility. Usually happens within one month of your medical pass date.
You should see 'Recommended Pass' (assigned by a case associate) as the next status. The case associate validates all the requirements as a first step. Then passes the application to an officer for the final decision on Eligibility. The officer reviews your case once again, and then you see your eligibility as 'Passed'.

I would recommend you to request GCMS notes one month after your medical pass date. You should be seeing the above sequence in your notes.

Buddy look at the last few pages where the Notes comments starts thats where you can see the final update made on your file when this GCMS is generated..And as your AoR is june and that too ur VO is Ottawa it has to be fast..but dont worry once you got medical update there will be changes in ur file..as the other user suggested wait for atleast a month or 45days after you got medical update and rise one more GCMS request..

Usually if you are inland and CEC the file moves fast becuase there wont be much complications especially about work exp as for CEC it is canadian exp much easier which is under eligibilty..I may be wrong but thats what the trend usually i observed..If you are outland application then that could be reason for delay most outland applicants are having delays very few are able to see updates on their files.

Yeah it says Recomended PASS and im not sure how long it takes but i can say depends upon officer if the officer checks it right away and if he is satisfied with the documentation he will pass.In my case its the next day as per GCMS notes so some ppl have to wait bit longer but i never focused how long at max it takes.

hi I want to know wat is CIO?? in my primary visa office it is mentioned CIO , secondary- ottawa and third vo as Edmonton. so not able to figure out my VO
