This sounds like a scam. The Canadian embassy will no verify the validity of the work permit. You most likely won't find out if it's fake or not until you try boarding a plane and then entering Canada. If you really want to do something this stupid, then don't give him the money until you are in Canada.

It will not be easier to extend your work permit if you can get entrance to Canada. The process will be the same. You will still need a job offer and the employer will need to obtain an approved LMIA so that you can apply for a closed work permit.

I have talked about everything that u told me in order to check that my work permit is fake or genuine.
He told me that I ll receive my passport at the end from the Canadian consulate which is in Pakistani city Islamabad.
Moreover, he also assured me that I ll also be able to check the status of my application.
Now please tell me that how it ll be possible for me to check the status of a paper based application.Also, tell me that which kind of visa I ll get in order to get to Canada because work permit will be issued at the port of entry of Canada.
How will i know that what will be the duration of work permit that i ll get at the port of entry?
Will I be able to switch to another employer in Canada regardless the nature of work permit which I ll get at the port of entry?
I mean it ll be easy for me to work with an employer who ll be willing to hire me ?
Could u also tell me that which kind of work permits can be extended?

It is extremely difficult to switch employers once you are in Canada. In order to switch employers, the employer who wants to hire you has to go through a long and expensive process in order to get approval to hire you and then you will need to get a new work permit. So no, it will not be easy for you to work with any employer who is willing to hire you. It will be extremely difficult.

This still sounds fake to me. If they are telling you any of the following then this is fake:
- telling you that you have to pay money now which will be repaid later
- telling you that you will be issued a TRV or eTA and then this will be converted to a work permit once you are in Canada
- offering to pay for your flight or food or accommdations
- telling you there is great urgency in applying or you will lose this opportunity

Post the job offer here in full. We will be able to then easily tell you if this is fake.

My graduation will be complete in the coming June, and I am also going to appear in academic IELTS in November.
I ll apply under SDS stream for Canada study visa. SDS stream is available for Pakistan too.
My sister is a Canadian citizen, will this have repercussions for my application of student visa???
Please suggest me what I should do in order to make my case strong . My CGPA( GRADES ) IS ALSO GOOD 3.5/4. i ll also get good band score in IELTS. Please give me ur valuable suggestions

hi, i also have a query about getting a work permit CANADA, Can anyone tell me the whole process of getting an LMIA ?? Actually, i have approached an immigration Consultant In Montreal. i asked him about the work permit for Canada. He said that firstly, i will have to pay him 1000 CAD in order to apply for LMIA. Then i told him about the job location that i want to shift to which is winnipeg. He said that i can chose the job place of my wish. He was recommending Vancouver and toronto formerly. I said i want to work in Winnipeg and he said that he will help me in getting Job over there. He was also saying that he will try to get me a job starting salary of which would be 3000 CAD. He is asking for my CV and work experience certificates to commence the process.

I want to know if this is fake or genuine ? should i start the process paying him 1000 CAD for the application fee ?
