You should buy lotto max man. Lol. My AOR is beginning of April, Richmond Hill, ON. I just called them, they said there is nothing that they can do. I need to WAIT.
You are right. Even I called on 6232 Number, and agent told me that he cannot do anything :(

Watching all these replies, I feel extremely confused now lol. So some officers said they call in order, some said they call randomly, some officers can even offer an option to make an appointment for candidates. Amazing.

Ikr, at the least now we know that their calling scheme is not what IRCC was stated on the website. Anything could happen. I’m on the phone again rn. Finger crossed.

I just called SC again. The gentleman still gave me the same answer. He can't do anything for me. What I can do is just waiting...

Same here. I feel like we just need to wait. They also added that at the number stated they can't even forward people over.

Hi All,

Finally, I did it. I did n’t say that I want to book an appointment, but said that I have received BIL in August, then asked what’s the next step? He explained that the biometric is currently controlled and I have to wait.

When I mentioned that its too late as my visa will expire, then he did transfer the call.

They gave me an early morning appointment, which is too early for me. I didn’t complain, will wake up early after a late-night shift.

Do not give up. Appreciated, thanks all for sharing.

I just called that number and an agent claims that they are not able to transfer calls at this location/service...

May I know your location? ON!

I just called Service Canada as well. The agent said that you should get the call and they are calling as per AOR number only and that I should receive the call before any March, April AORs in my area (my AOR is Feb 28 - Brampton). I told him that is not the case and that the calls are coming in random order. He sounded very surprised but said that nothing can be done except filing webform with IRCC or calling them. Planning to call IRCC next... He said appointment cannot be given on phone, only by SC calling them... So this is really random and quite frustrating....
You say here AOR number - like EE application number? not AOR dates?

Interestingly, all these people who "managed" to get an appointment by calling SC themselves joined the forum today, generally minutes ago.

Maybe the fellow users of this forum are cursed, who knows? :D

Noticed that one too. Poor SC workers rn getting tons of calls rn for no reason
