Even though the new policy as of Sept 22 says people with valid biometrics will be exempted from providing new biometrics, it seems both people with and without previous biometrics receive biometrics requests. No idea what.s going on. Its so confusing. Let's wait and see...

Not that I know of, no December applicant got SP or AIP yet. Hopefully December applicant will start getting SP & AIP soonish.

This is the exact words from IRCC website regards to biometrics.

Service Canada officers will call you to book an appointment. Don’t go to a Service Canada Centre unless a Service Canada officer calls you and schedules an appointment for you.

It's weird if we have to fill out something in order to give our bio because It doesn't mention anything about filling out a form
I think we just need to wait for a officer to call us.
That's what I have been doing for a week, but got nothing yet.

I called service Canada today and they gave me a # to call but that # was out of service.
Guess it’s the waiting game now. Good luck!!

Jan. 21 applicant from the WhatsApp group received BIL today. I'm a Jan. 22 applicant, I had Biometrics for TRV also in January. I have not received BIL yet. Is anyone in the same situation where TRV biometrics is still valid?

They have said that previous biometrics will be valid.
