Hi all,

Thank you for all the help before. My wife is now with IEC(Class 58) working visa and we have applied for inland family class, alongside with a working permit application. She will fall in to implied status soon. We are wonder what if her application is being rejected, or deemed incomplete. As her IEC working permit does not permitted renewal, will she be able to restore her status as worker or visitor? What is the steps for that? We want to get better prepared for that and she does not want to leave the country during this Covid19 time. Thanks.

She can apply to restore her status as a visitor within 90 days of the refusal of the OWP, if it is refused, which hopefully it won't be.

She should change her status to visitor right before her IEC ends so she remains eligible for an OWP.
