There are many students, families and asylum seekers and others are waiting to enter Canada or waiting to have their visa processed but due to Covid it is a mess. I can understand your frustration but you should wait and results may be in your favor. For international students its not even guaranteed yet if they will get a visa who are waiting for the file to be processed so there is no point to panic , what if visa is refused? Further , if someone lend money to pay tuition fee it is not Immigration Canada's fault , as per immigration you should be able to afford your study. Not trying to be mean but we need to understand and have some patience to understand the problem Immigration Canada have as well. Immigration Canada wants to help everyone that is why people who are on tourist visa they are allowed to extend their tourist visa and can apply for work permit meeting some conditions. International students who are in Canada have received financial and immigration help as well. There will be a time for you as well. Also you can withdraw your application any time but its better to wait and continue study from home country as it may be a positive point for your education by showing your good results, means one is a good student and have intensions to study.
Stay positive everyone !!
Well,l just stated my opinion, it's not a big deal lol. I'm not panicking here hitting my head on walls or something like that. The blind positivity you are trying to spread isn't very helpful in practical life.

Source? Don't assume things! With same logic, you are not qualified for PGWP. If IRCC says you are qualified for PGWP then you are qualified for points!
IRCC haa already said on Twitter about the canadian experience points. More than 50% online, you lose them.
How can I post the print here?

Rules change, like today, there are new updates on travel restrictions. As per current rules, you don't get points and that's what they said on twitter. But no one is graduating at the end of this year (or until April 2021) to apply for PGWP and then for PR. So they have plenty of time to revise something around it to give some break to students.

Of course they can change the rules. But is to much money to bet. As an international student that is waiting for too long, we need assured answers.

Email Justin Trudeau and Marco
Don’t need to. Most students are waiting and haven’t agreed to start online studies paying the same amount as a presencial one. That’s why this new information about opening borders for international students although covids raiting are increasing. Money. We give a lot of money. And we have patience. Have a good night.

Hey! Can someone explain the new update from IRCC that they’ll open border for international students? Isn’t it for international students who came back to their home countries and want to return back to canada to continue their studies?
OR
Will it be applicable for international students who are just now applying for the student visa?

It says on multiple sites that it’s for students who are ‘returning back’ to canada and their DLI has a covid 19 prevention plan
Are you sure? Cuz I read on multiple sources, they said it is for all potential international students. Also, all the returning back students are already allowed to enter Canada as long as they have valid study permit, even study permit approved after 3.18 before today’s news

Those who complete more than 50% of the course outside Canada, won't get points for EE

The wordings on the post were a little confusing. btw does this mean that they'll open VFS offices in india? and we'll finally be able to get full visa?
