Im on hold to speak with an agent at IRCC, is there anything they can tell me that isn’t already on my file? I am just waiting for my security to be passed according to GCSM notes and am exempt from biometrics but all this hasn’t been updated on my profile.

I saw lots of people with AOR in May, June, July in KW area got called...My AOR is Feb and BIL is March. Still wait for call...:(
I'm March 7 AOR and no call yet too. No idea why they are giving priority to the later AOR ones.

I think it has more to do with the city you are based in. They did mention it will take longer if you're based in cities like Toronto because that is likely were majority of applicants live.

it's understandable if so but they are calling April, May, June ones here where I'm living.

Hi guys,

AOR: May 21, 2020
BIL: July 10, 2020
Location: North York

Got a call today at around 11:30 am from Service Canada with No Caller ID appearing on my phone.

Booked the appointment for 8th October at SC near Scarborough Town Center.

All the best guys!!!

AOR: Aug 18
BIL: Sep 10
Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Just got the call at 2:45 pm here. Booked for Monday morning (Oct 5). For some odd reason, they called my partner first (he is the dependent) before they called me (primary applicant). They couldn't reach him at work. Then they tried my number and I answered.

I just want to let y'all know that I got the call from a number that I could see, i.e., not from 'no caller ID'. Right before that, I had a spam call from a very similar number claiming to be SC. It sucks that these spammers are calling in full force these days to take advantage of the situation. Still, just a heads-up that a displayed unknown number could totally be the real Service Canada too, like it was for me.

All the very best, guys. I hope you all receive the call very, very soon. I know most people here have been waiting a lot longer than me.

Hi guys! Just got a call from Service Canada for biometric appointment. Booked it for Monday Oct5. Calgary. AOR April 08
My wife is exempt from the requirement to give biometrics but not me.
PNP-CEC Express entry
Congratulations!
I have wondered if Service Canada is prioritizing PNP applicants. Anyone else see this trend? Can people who've gotten appointments confirm if this is the case?

Thanks for the insight! Was it a 1-800 number, or a regular number?

I am pnp march aor but people with late aor dates have gotten calls already in burnaby, BC. I am from vancouver, no calls in Vancouver according to spreadsheet

It was a regular number with my city's area code. My husband, who missed his call, tried calling back and it went to that particular SC employee's desk phone voicemail. In a way, this is good because at least it means we can figure out which missed call was from SC and call them back, leave a message, reschedule, etc. I wish they would universally call everyone from a normal number.

Guys I need your inputs, I received an email this week from the responsible office who works on my file saying “Your Application is being sent to an Officer for Review Of Finalization”, I called the client support centre agent couple of times they said my CRIMINALITY is NOT YET STARTED but in my GCMS Notes that I ordered it states in the note CRIMINALITY - IN PROGRESS. Im inside Canada

Eligibility - Passed
Medical - Passed
Security - Passed

Criminality says by the agent not yet started.

I also talked to a IRCC Agent she says the officer put a note in my file “FINAL REVIEW”

But Im worried about my criminality checks. Why my file is now in Final Review without assessment of my Criminality.

Guys I meed your insight. Thank you.
I have the same status as yours.

My biometric from last 2 years was updated, so no biometric needed.
Medical passed
Eligibility passed
Security passed
Criminality i progress

Please let me know when yours is finalized.

I am FSW with Aug aor / Sep BIL and I got the call today. Not sure if there are fewer applicants in my city. I am surprised because there are others on the spreadsheet with earlier AORs in my city. I am really curious about how they are prioritizing. They've got to be prioritizing in some way, they can't possibly be pulling random names out of a hat.
