No. we didn't realize the error. I was trying to provide updated information as I've become pregnant and am due in November. I've been trying through web form monthly since we found out and they haven't been able to help at all as we do not have a permanent application number.

Did you receive a XF######### number and try to submit to webform using that? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just panicking quite a bit right now.

I would think you would be okay then! If they don't have their own version of postal/zip codes the agent should know that!

I would hope not. I am going to call the postal office in his country just in case tho. My application was sent back for a missing document, so I’m scared maybe they didn’t even get to looking at the postal code part yet.

Also pregnant and due first week of December...cannot mentally deal with the stress of having it sent back again after this and worrying about my husbands status in the country, applying for extensions again etc

That's okay! Yes, I did submit webforms with my XF application number.

I wonder how come they weren't able to help you then. I found this thread https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...406-spousal-sponsorship-inside-canada.544049/ where people were able to send updated IMM5406's in the webform using the temporary file number before AOR. For those in the same boat as me I would try this!

Im not sure. I really wish someone had been able to help lol. But this post you referenced is from early 2018/19. Maybe covid has something to do with it? Because my temp application number was not logged in the system for any agent to reference. Even when I called on the phone I was not able to get any help with that XF application number.

Thanks for answering my questions! I got off the phone and the agent actually said I should be able to attach the webform to my XF number... can I ask you if your XF number was the same as your biometrics reminder email F######## with the X in front of it?

In my spouses country nobody uses postal codes or even knows them, you can’t even google what they would be for the addresses now I am more worried about resubmitting and it being sent back again because of this

I don't believe it can be simply a POSTAL CODE for returning the whole thing. I have seen and personally filled apps for a friend in 5406 no postal codes were written only Correct addresses and his wife is here. Got to more reason than a postal code. Postal code is more important for main applicant not for relatives as they are not going to communicate with relatives.

Yes. It was zip codes only. That was the only thing. You don't have to believe it. Just sharing my experience with everyone.

Hi, I'm from Barbados. You can use this website to get the postal codes https://www.geopostcodes.com/Barbados .Search for the specific parish and then the area then add BB before the number found on the website to get the postal code. For example the postal code for my parents address is BB17117. Hope this helps.

You can also see if he can have someone visit the post office for their area and ask for the postal code since some areas on the website I linked have more than 1 postal code depending on the size of the area.

Full addresses are there minus zip codes. Forms were filled out on the computer so everything fit easier than handwritten.

Thanks I checked the latest version is 08-2020 which one you are using for resending? As one we have is ver 09-2018 at the bottom left corner AND they advise you to use ONLY the one which comes with the KIT ..all so confusing

It's been a stressful 24 hours. Got the mail last night with the incomplete application. Called them this morning with all our questions. Found somewhere that is still doing ink fingerprints and made an appointment because now the FBI identity history summary is expired as well (only valid for 6 months).
