Hi Guys,

I had applied for papers-based OINP nomination, Can I also apply for express entry in parallel or Do I need to cancel my OINP PR process.
Though I got AOR on 10th March 2020, got a PCC request in Aug,

Would my profile get affected by canceling mine in progress Paper-based PR? Thanks

I got my wife registered in OINP Master stream opening of 29 Sep 2020. My wife current nomination was secured through Job Offer International Student (JOIS). With the COVID cloud still looming, she is seeking second nomination through Master Stream, which does not have any strings attached in contrast with JOIS once nominated you should keep the job (employer too) to the day a PR decision is finally made. We as family thought that is a long shot and risky too, we already lost two months because she was temporarily laid off and OINP had her application "on hold". PR application already received in Sydney Nova Scotia today. Fingers crossed.

New AINP online portal
Starting October 1, 2020, all candidates (except Self-Employed Farmer Stream candidates) can apply online using the AINP portal. Alberta Express Entry Stream candidates must receive authorization from the AINP to access the portal.

The AINP portal was designed to make the application for candidates easy. Candidates receive tips on how to enter data, a customized list of documents and can save a draft application to complete at a later date. The system does an initial assessment on eligibility, and ensures that candidates who clearly do not meet basic criteria do not waste time and money submitting an application.

Check out the new AINP Portal. https://www.alberta.ca/ainp-updates.aspx

Application fees
All applications submitted using the AINP online portal on or after October 1, 2020 are subject to a $500 processing fee. The application fee is non-refundable once an application has been submitted. The fee covers the cost of processing the application and is required whether a nomination certificate is issued or not.

To those who uploaded/submitted their FBI clearance via IRCC account. What is the expiry date did you put in? There's no expiration in the FBI clearance but IRCC requires this field. Appreciate your help. Thanks
