COPR - Can I work for anyone now?

I just got my COPR! I guess I'm asking because I can't quite believe it yet, but someone has already approached me to see if I can take on some freelance work. I was on a closed work permit and only allowed to work for my employer. I just mailed off my COPR and photos in order to get my PR card today, and applied for a permanent SIN number a couple of days ago. Can I work for anyone now or do I need to wait until I get my PR card and permanent SIN number?

1. You can work for anybody that you wish.

Did you get virtual landing? That will allow you to work for anyone. Just a COPR will not.
