Can you post what does your notes contain? In the notes, is it stated there that deferred LOA is updated or the new LOA was seen elsewhere? As you are the first one here who got notes that deferred admission from september to january. Your gcms notes will be a good example for those who have also deferred even with AIP.

Last question, you submitted deferred LOA after AIP, right? As what was stated in the order of the notes? What day did you upload the new LOA? So that I can also estimate the days after sending it thru webform and being reflected in the notes. Thank you for the valuable information!
Hi everyone, I have a question about GCMS notes/ATIP:
Could you help me with advice:
I applied for a study permit and OWP (for spouse).
I was accepted to Master Degree for 2-year program (IELTS L8 R8 W6.5 S 7.5)
my master degree program in Education sphere connects to my Bachelor degree and all my life job (also in Education sphere).
Our applications were refused because of 3 reasons
1) family ties with Canada or homeland
2) purpose of visit
3) employment prospects.
in ATIP reasons were written as:
1)Given family ties or economic motives to remain in Canada, the applicant's incentives to remain in Canada may outweigh their ties to their home country the applicant's incentives to remain in Canada
2)plan of studies appear vague and poorly documented
3) According to the applicant's employment prospects, I have accorded less weight to their employment ties to their country of residence
To be honest, I expected to see in ATIP that the reason for refusing is that I am going to Canada with my spouse, however as I understood VO said more about employment prospects and employment ties.
What do you think about it?
Does it mean that I have to rewrite my letter of explanation and add more documents about employment ties?

1. Maybe your only family right now is your wife and you didn’t include any relatives in your SOP. (Family ties)
2. You didn’t specify clear reasons why have masters in canada especially if it can be availed in your home country. (Purpose of Visit)
3. You didn’t show evidences that you can be employed when you come back to your home country. I presume you’re over 30 since this reason is often for older applicants (Employment Prospects)

20200822: send webform to inform deferral with new loa attached
20200829: get email from ircc to confirm the reception of my new loa
i guess things have changed later, because i knew some guys submitted webforms later got message that ircc would answer their webform requests in about 28 working days. i dont know what is the situation now, but that's what i know since then.
i saw news today that canada has extended travel ban until the end of oct.Same like mine
i guess we have to wait until then to see if they will lift travel ban since ircc has announced that they are only gonna issue visas after that.
I recently sent mine thru webform and it was confirmed after a week. Thanks for the information!
