Questions regarding CEC

Hey Guys!

Hope everyone is safe. So I needed some advice. I am a fresh graduate in BC and I have a PGWP so I have been planning on pursuing the CEC pathway. I have been actively looking for a job that is related to my degree and the duties comply with the ones pointed out in the NOC(1123) but I have had zero luck in finding a job. I have applied to 45+ places and have not recieved any leads so far.
My question is that if I dont find a job related to my particular NOC, can I get another one of totally different job duties and after that be eligible for another pathway to PR? Also would the LMIA be mandatory for that?

Any guidance will be much appreciated!

Any skilled job counts under the CEC. It doesn't need to be related to your degree. You don't need an LMIA to work with a PGWP.

So if I graduated with a degree in communications then the job does not have to be anything related to communications and can fall under any of the NOC 0, A or B?

Yes, any skilled job is fine.
