New work permit with old visa

If I get a new work permit but my visa was issued based on old work permit and still valid. Can I use it to travel outside Canada or do I need to get a new visa based on the new work permit.

1. As long as your TRV is still valid when you return, you are fine. Remember though that for your admission, CBSA has to think that your entry is essential and you will have to have quarantine plan.
