There was a likelihood that the NDP may withdraw its support and there may be fall elections. The priority of the liberals was to hold one to power, make sure if there are elections to cover the bases so that they can seek vote and not do any major announcements, except for that cater to their political ends.

Now that this has ended, there will be a major surge in each ministry overhauling their own areas after the PM issues new mandate letters as the new session of the Parliament has just begun. As soon as the mandate letter to the Minister of Immigration will be made public a few days from now, it will be come clear what the priority areas for IRCC will. Family reunification has already been announced to be revamped by allocation additional resources, and in the next few days many other programs, such as work, study and PR applications and how high on priority they rank will be cleared.

Yes it is month old. Security is always empty if completed. For system error check info sharing activities and you ll find error somewhere like photo sharing etc

As per the webform response, it seems like your eligibility was passed by an officer, which is the same as your GCMS notes and all other things are completed.

“valid” here indicates, that the documents required for the specific stage are “legal, not expired, and accepted by IRCC,” and no further input is required by the applicant.

If Security background is valid it's likely completed and at least underway. You can cross check this with Page#2 Assessment section of your Gcms Notes where Security will be blank and will only be so if you passed Eligibility Review which you have. Your application is in good shape.

During your application processing IRCC sends many request to agencies that work with IRCC. When these requests are no longer required, then they are cancelled and thus the status.
