was just curious when would I receive it. Its been 3 weeks after its issuance.
What happened in your case if you checked your GCMS before and after ?

There are some other folks waiting like you too in this forum. Not sure how long it takes. I got end of July after being ready for approval since May. Now seems getting much slower. Try calling.

Yeah they seem to be getting much slower! I even called yesterday and I asked whether there will be more staff at work, and they said "gradually increasing staff"... Such vague answer.

Also, the agent asked me whether I applied outside or inside Canada so that was interesting.

Anyone who was told their medicals need an extension? Do you know how much time it takes? Do we have to do medicals again? Also, once medicals get 'extended', any idea how much time it took for anyone on this forum for PPR?

I think they are extended so they can give us PPR soon lad.

Hi @legalfalcon is their any scenario that ircc will request for medical and biometrics without receiving aor? My fellow applicants processor says that they are still waiting for her aor, but bio ad medical was done last feb.


WE are apply thru a consultancy agency.

The first step is AoR. Unless your have the AoR, how can any other step happen since without the AoR, you do not even have the application number, which Is required to sccgciate your medicals and biometrics.

The Medicals are done before the submission of the application as upfront medicals and are uploaded with the application documents. But the BIL will always happen after AoR.

Thanks, @Mike@2019 and @EssGee for the info. So, we have to wait for PR only :-(, my spouse is on a work permit which is valid till Mar`21 so we can`t follow the - Canadian PR holder or citizen process

We have one more issue now, my wife`s passport is expiring in March`21. She has submitted the renewal application - so when should we update IRCC - once we get the renewed passport or right now?
